IAF-GLOBALG.A.P Memorandum of Understanding
Copy of the text of the MoU agreed between IAF and GLOBALG.A.P. The MoU was originally signed between IAF and EurepGAP by Dr Thomas Facklam, the Chairman of IAF and Dr Kristian Moller, the Secretary of EurepGAP and the Managing Director of FoodPlus GmbH, on June 2, 2006. The updated MoU with GLOBALG.A.P was signed on May 29, 2009.

IAF-FoodPLUS Agreement - Endorsement of the GLOBALG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) Certification Scheme
The Agreement finalises the IAF endorsement of the GLOBALG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) certification scheme. The Agreement was signed between IAF and FoodPLUS by Mr Randy Dougherty, the Chairman of IAF and Mr. Andras Fekete on behalf of Dr Kristian Moller, the Secretary of GLOBALG.A.P, and the Managing Director of FoodPlus GmbH, on the 25th of October 2013. The endorsement of the IFA certification scheme introduces the IFA certification into the IAF MLA as a level 4 and level 5 sub-scopes under the main scope of ISO/IEC Guide 65/17065.
IAF-ILAC Agreement on Closer Cooperation

IAF-ILAC-IEC Memorandum of Understanding
Copy of the text of the revised MoU agreed between IAF, ILAC and IEC. The original MoU was signed by Randy Dougherty, the Chairman of IAF, Daniel Pierre, the Chairman of ILAC, and Aharon Amit, the General-Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of IEC, on October 29, 2010 at a ceremony in Shanghai. An initial update to the MoU was signed October 2012 in Rio de Janeiro.
The most recent update to the ILAC-IAF-IEC MoU was signed in October 2015.

IAF-ILAC-ISO Memorandum of Understanding
Copy of the text of the updated MoU agreed between IAF, ILAC and ISO. The MoU was signed by Randy Dougherty, the Chairman of IAF, Peter Unger, the Chairman of ILAC and Rob Steele, the Secretary-General of ISO, on April 10, 2014 at a ceremony in Geneva.
IAF-ILAC-ITU Memorandum of Understanding
Copy of the text of the MoU agreed between IAF, ILAC and ITU. The MoU was signed between IAF, ILAC and ITU by Randy Dougherty, the Chair of IAF, Peter Unger, the Chair of ILAC, and Malcolm Johnson, Director, Telecommunication, Standardization Bureau, of the ITU on May 14, 2012.
IAF-ILAC-OIML Memorandum of Understanding
Copy of the text of the updated MoU agreed between IAF, ILAC and OIML. The updated MoU was signed by Randy Dougherty, the Chairman of IAF, Peter Unger, the Chairman of ILAC and Peter Mason, the President, International Committee of Legal Metrology for OIML, on October 16, 2014 at a ceremony in Vancouver, Canada. The revised document replaces a first revision dated October 29, 2010. The original tripartite MoU was signed on October 28, 2007.
IAF-ILAC-UNIDO Memorandum of Understanding
Copy of the text of the updated MoU agreed between IAF, ILAC and UNIDO. The updated MoU was signed by Randy Dougherty, the Chairman of IAF, Peter Unger, the Chairman of ILAC and Bernardo Calzadilla-Sarmiento, the Director, Trade Capacity-Building Branch, UNIDO, on October 16, 2014 at a ceremony in Vancouver, Canada. The original tripartite MoU was signed on October 10, 2004.

Accreditation Body Assessor Job Task Analysis Report - October 2012
The IAF Validation and Job Task Analysis Report for Accreditation Body (AB) Assessors has been finalized and approved. This report was designed to validate the “generic” tasks, knowledge and skills of an Accreditation Body Assessor. The report describes in detail the process and results of this study to include a content outline and learning objectives that can be used for designing and implementing training programs. The task list can also be used to design evaluation tools for AB assessors. At the present time, this document is informative. It is intended that a mandatory document based on this information will be developed in the future.
Expected Outcomes of Accredited Certification
The following documents are user-friendly versions of the Joint ISO-IAF Communiques regarding the expected outcomes of accredited certification to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, which were issued in July 2009 - see IAF Publications, Section Communiques. The purpose of these publications is to promote a common focus throughout the entire conformity assessment chain in order to achieve the outcomes expected of accredited certification and thereby enhance its value and relevance.

Also available is a guidance document for liaison organizations on engaging stakeholders and building consensus (http://www.iso.org/iso/guidance_liaison-organizations.pdf). This document provides specific principles and guidance to liaisons on involving their stakeholders throughout the various stages of development of ISO work. IAF Liaison representatives who participate in ISO's work are encouraged to review sections 3.1 & 3.2 of this document to ensure effective and representative input into the development of ISO standards.
For some of the recently published CASCO standards, the experts of the Working Groups who developed them have prepared a Power point presentation to highlight the main elements of the document and show the differences with the former version. OD-G-2003 IECEE-ILAC-IAF Guidance for the Conduct of Unified Assessments in the Electrotechnical Sector - Ed. 2.0, April 2016
This document was developed by a Joint Working Group of IEC, ILAC and IAF for assessment teams conducting unified assessments in the electrotechnical sector and provides background and guidance on how unified assessments are prepared, conducted and completed. This document contains guidance on the management of the on-site assessment of Certification Bodies and Testing Laboratories against ISO/IEC 17065 and ISO/IEC 17025, in order to harmonize and simplify unified assessments in the electrotechnical sector. The guidance emphasizes the importance of assessment as a management tool for monitoring and verifying the effective competence and capability in the relevant elements of conformity assessment in testing and certification of electrotechnical equipment and components. The use of this guidance may differ according to the size, nature and complexity of the organizations to be assessed, as well as the objectives and scopes of the assessments to be conducted.
PEFC ST 2003:2012 Requirement for Certification Bodies operating Certification against the PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes) International Chain of Custody Standard
This document defines the requirements for certification bodies carrying out PEFC chain of custody certification. It was developed by a joint working group of PEFC and the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), and is effective as of 16 July 2012.
It was agreed at the IAF Technical Committee meeting held on 21 October 2012 that PEFC should take full responsibility for the publishing and maintenance of this document, and for the scheme.
